It's me again, and eventhough I have an assignment due in less than 4 hours, (not that I'm finished... >_<) But I just read an article on BBC.uk and I am frankly very very worried...
Australia is facing the biggest drought it's seen in 125 years.. No wonder food prices have been skyrocketing! Just yesterday I bought milk, bread, soup, mushrooms and eggs. And that alone came up to quite a fair bit.. I mean bread used to only cost $1-ish.. Now, it's $3.29! Water is so so important guys! So if you live in the country that rains frequently, and there is no water rationing, it's a good thing.
I have to wash dishes the Australia way over the last few days lol.. Like fill the sink up with uber hot water with dish washing liquid mixed in, and just wash everything in there and quickly rinse it and dry it. Technically if you're uber Aussie, then you don't even rish the soap suds off.. I mean it's bad enough washing already dirty plates in water that you used to wash other plates when you want them clean.. Showers have been reduced from the luxurious 15 minute showers to 10 minute showers.. T________T
The farmers of Australia have had to sell their crop, land and cattle just to feed themselves. If they keep selling, with no one to manage all this the food coming out will not be enough to feed the rest of US people. It mentioned somewhere in the article that one of the rural areas has so little water that families have started moving away, and if families (with children) move, the neighbourhood school will be empty with a reduced teaching staff of ONE. Imagine being the teacher, the principle, and the vice all in one. And I understand coz er.. I'm studying to be a teacher.. But heck. This is serious.
So PRAY people, I don't care what religion or beliefs you have right now (better not be S.A.Tan), but I ask you to pray for water to fill this place to the brim, so the farmer won't be thinking about gutting the cows, the crop or themselves from depression.
It seems to me, that シド [SID] are getting happier and happier.. Considering their B-side to the last single Otegami was CHO~happy as well!! But yesh, if you want a slice of happiness, I urge you to download this single or just the title track is good enough lol..
Takui's newest one! I have to admit this was rather surprising... This is more mellow than his usual dosage of bouncy upbeat rock.. Not to say that I don't like it, but it does grow on you! XDDD To me, it was like here he was experimenting more with different styles than anything else. However his voice quality is still at it's best! But that is Takui for everyone!! *cough* And I'm loving the new hair cut he's gotten.. makes him look so much cuter! And I'm a sucker for most guys in suits... *cough*
And another piece of really belated news! Daita has also done another collab with a project band called BINECKS and the new album is due to be out soon-ish... When I heard the samples, I thought to myself, I am going to become a whole lot poorer... T______T
Anyway, until I get my hands on more links... I will next update about this year's A Night in Fantasia and Japanese Festival 07! And that means pictures!!! Wheee~~~~ Toodles!
